Stainton Village Hall is funded completely by fundraising through events such as the regular Coffee Mornings. The Trustees need to raise almost £2000 per year to cover the Hall ( Insurance, Electricity, Maintenance, etc) and to fund Village events (Annual Firework Display, Village in Bloom, etc).

The Trustees are seeking ways to make the Hall sustainable in the long term, and one such initiative is to install Photo-Voltaic Solar Panels onto the roof of the Hall. In addition to free electricity during daylight hours, this would also provide an income of around £1200 per year for the next 25 years.

The Trustees have also taken steps to improve the heating in the Hall, improve our environmental footprint and reduce running costs by arranging the installion of an Air Source Heating system.

These projects will cost about £15,000. The Trustees are applying for grants etc, but   they  need your help   in raising the total required.
